When did you start watching The Office?

I started watching The Office in the summer of 2011. My cousin had been watching for awhile and one day was like "Hey do you want to watch The Office?" and I said sure so we started watching from episode one and that's when it all started (:

What is your favorite episode and why?

My favorite episode is "The Injury". I just love the story to it and how it goes in such different directions, first Michael's hurt, then Dwight gets a concussion, then Michael's throwing a fit, and it all just never failed to make me laugh. The characters also really started to show more traits and lines and it was just hilarious!

Who is your favorite character and why?

My favorite character would have to be Pam. I can really relate to her in a lot of ways and I just love love love her character development. How she started out as a quiet receptionist who was engaged to the wrong person, to this confident, beautiful, amazing woman who got to be with the man she loves. She was the heart of the show, she felt the most real to me, and she's just a genuine person.

Do you have a favorite moment for The Office?

My all-time favorite moment in The Office is Michael's Goodbye Song. When they took him in to sing him that, it was really unexpected for me as well. That was the first time the show actually brought tears to my eyes. I had felt the feels before in a lot of episodes and had wanted to cry, (when Jim tells Pam he has feelings for her, Jim and Pam's wedding) but that was the first time actual tears came to my eyes. It was such an amazing mix of sentiment and humor and love that just came together so beautifully. To this day any time I hear the actual song from Rent I can't help but feel like I'm back in that moment watching it for the first time. Ugh, I'm so emotional.

What's it like being an admin for The Office-isms?

Being an admin for The Office-isms is amazing! I get to be surrounded by a bunch of amazing people who all share a love for this show, and also in a way gets me to relive The Office every week by posting quotes to such amazing fans. Y'all make it impossible for me to forget about this show (;

How has The Office changed your life?

The office is the reason I love TV. The Office was the first actual TV show I watched, and I instantly del in love. TV after that was not just something to do when you were bored but now it was a peek at another person's life. You can visit anywhere and be apart of so many different shows and fall in love with so many different characters. The Office also helped me become more social. I now had this similarities with other people that I could talk about, if they watched the show. It also helped me mature, gave me a bunch of friends I wouldn't have had otherwise, and taught me to love every moment of life. That any ordinary life, as ordinary as working at a paper company, can be amazing and filled with exciting experiences.

Do you have any great memories associated with The Office?

I remember watching the Goodbye Michael episode the morning before I had to go to school, and after he was gone I felt devastated. But then once I got to school, and saw the people I was surrounded with, the things going on, the sort of "plots" that were happening, I realized that I am living my "Office" everyday. I didn't have to watch a TV show to feel a part of something, I just had to live my life. That's a principle I have with me everyday because of that show. It's how I get through the day, and it'll probably be how I get through the rest of my life.
