When did you start watching The Office?

I had just completed F.R.I.E.N.D.S and I was an emotional wreck. I started a lot of shows during that period but none appealed to me enough to continue watching. Then my sister told me to start this funny show that she’d heard of a lot. I actually watched the UK version first and then got hooked onto the US one. This was around a year ago.

What is your favorite episode and why?

Oh god it should be illegal to ask such a question from a hardcore The Office fan. Okay I have a few episodes that have made me both laugh like a retarded seal and curl up in a ball and cry my eyes out.

My favorite episodes (in no particular order) would be:

Goodbye Michael (I love myself a good cry)
Stress Relief
Booze Cruise
Broke
Women’s Appreciation

Who is your favorite character and why?

Michael Freakin’ Scott. He is a total idiot and lacks any social skills that even a 3-year-old should possess. He is tactless and oblivious to everything around him. He genuinely believes that everyone loves him and his sense of humor. But he is not plain dumb and stupid. He is a people’s person. He loves entertaining people, making friends and joking around. Because of his desperation to be liked by everyone, he often finds himself blurring the lines between his employees’ personal and professional lives. His simple-heartedness along with his dismal lack of self control over his words and actions made him instantly lovable to me.

Probably the biggest reason that I love Michael is because of his self-delusion and utter lack of awareness. He is such a diverse fictional character. He is one person on The Office who cares deeply for the ones he loves and isn’t afraid to show it. It’s ironical that he constantly pines for Jim and Pam’s company and ignores Dwight, the character who probably cares the most for him. Ah well, he is oblivious to the most obvious of things. But that’s just him.

Gotta love the Best Boss Ever!

Do you have a favorite moment for The Office?

OH GOD YES. So many moments. Stress Relief opening. Jim dressed up as Dwight. Jam and Pam’s first kiss in Casino Night. Michael’s two “that’s what she said’s” (the wedding and the airport). Jim consoling the crying Dwight. Michael’s therapy session with Toby. Jim and Pam’s made up diseases being read out by Dwight. Michael and Dwight preparing for the birth of a watermelon.

What's it like being an admin for The Office-isms?

The most rewarding job in the entire world :D I mean what’s better than posting about the show that you love and interacting with people from all over the world that you wouldn’t have met otherwise, had it not been for this brilliant show. Just our mutual love for this one show that binds all of us together. The Office-isms rocks!

How has The Office changed your life?

This show has always been there for me. Whenever I felt depressed or had a mood swing or just felt as if everything was wrong with the world, The Office was always there for me. It made me forget about everything for 21 minutes and just have a good laugh. It has made me more picky towards other comedy shows as after watching The Office, everyone else just seems as if they are trying too hard.

Do you have any great memories associated with The Office?

Watching our favorite moments from The Office with my mom and sister. Re-watching all the episodes until I have each and every line and micro-expression memorized. Watching again and again all the Jim-Pam moments and the various proposals. Not to mention Michael going away and the finale

Is there anything you would like to add?

I would just like to say thank you to all you wonderful people. Thank you everybody, you’ve been so wonderful. I love ya’ll. I love you very much.

Oh and why don’t we have a fandom name for us? I mean seeing as The Office has such a huge fan-following, we should totally make up a name
