Thursday on Facebook, we played Stump The Co-Admin with Co-Admin: Christine

*Scroll down for Friday's Stump The Co-Admin with Diana

Question One:

Posed by Aaron Kriever:
"This is called leveraging an offer" Who said it and what episode?

Co-Admin Christine: I want to say Dwight...and I'm thinking it was Prince Family Paper Company?

Fact check:

DWIGHT: This is called leveraging an offer.
S2E5 "Halloween"

Result: SEMI-STUMP!

Question Two:

Posed by Ryan Drew Richert:
What was the first negotiation tactic used by Michael in episode [18] of season 3 when Darryl is trying to get a raise?

Co Admin Christine: I believe the first tactic he used was where he tried to change the place of the meeting.

Fact check:

Tricky question.  Christine was right that the first tactic Michael actually used on Darryl himself was to change the place of the meeting.  However, in an earlier scene Jim plays Darryl while Michael tries out his mumbling tactic.  We're calling it a no stump for the sake of argument.

S3E18 "The Negotiation"

Result: NO STUMP!

Question Three:

Posed by Marty Kooistra:
"I'll let you in on a little secret: I've been very much looking forward to this moment. Very, very much. I have been steeped in anticipation. Toby has been cruisin' for a bruisin' for twelve years, and I am now his cruise director, and my name is Captain Bruisin'." Who said this and what episode?

Co-Admin Christine: That was Michael Scott in Goodbye Toby

Fact check:

Happy Michael. S4E14 "Goodbye Toby"

Result: NO STUMP!

Question Four:

Posed by Andrea Daegas:
"The worst thing about prison is...the...the Dementors!" Who said it and what episode?

Co-Admin Christine: Michael Scott in The Convict

Fact Check:

They... were flying all over the place, and they were scary. And they'd come down, and they'd suck the soul out of your body, and it hurt! S3E9 "The Convict"

Result: NO STUMP!

Question One:

Posed by Becky Bonney:
 Which bear is best?

Co-Admin Diana: Season 3, product recall episode.  When Jim pretends to be Dwight.

Fact check:

False. Black Bear.

Find cover photos like this here
Ok, she was right, but we couldn't resist.

Result: NO STUMP!

Question Two:

Posed by Sam Shenberger:
What was the most inspirational saying that Michael ever told Dwight?

Co Admin Diana: Don't be an idiot! I'm sure of it!

Fact check:

Michael: Here we go. College Roadshow. Gotta bring our... A game. What was the most inspiring thing I've ever said to you?
Dwight: "Don't be an idiot." Changed my life.

S3E16 "Business School"

Result: NO STUMP!

Question Three:

Posed by Sheneneh Jenkins:
How long has Pam been a receptionist?

Co-Admin Diana: I want to say 7 years.

Fact check:

Try as we might, we can't find the answer to this question.  If from The Pilot on, Pam was a receptionist for 5 years.  Later becoming a salesperson and then the office administrator. If we go by the most recent episode "Moving On", She's only been at Dunder Mifflin for 8 years according to Mark.  (Which has to be either a character mistake or a writing mistake as obviously she's been there more than 9 years now) We know from The Pilot she'd worked there at least a "couple years" according to Michael, so 7 years is a pretty good guess.

Result: UNKNOWN

Question Four:

Posed by Cilan:
 "Did you check your butt?"

Co-Admin Diana: Michael Scott, not sure which episode.

Fact Check:

Jim: We're just trying to get these chips for Karen.
Andy: Did you check the vending machine?
Karen: Oh, the vending machines! How did we miss that?
Jim: I have no idea. We went right for the copier.
Karen: Mm.
Jim: And then we checked the fax machine.
Karen: Yeah, nothing there.
Andy: Did you check your butt?

S3E4 "Grief Counseling"

Result: STUMP!

Question Five:

Posed by Ian Hill:
That's what you hate to see , when hope gets crushed, who said this on Valentines day?

Co-Admin Diana: I want to say Michael Scott?

Fact Check:

S5E16 "Blood Drive"
